Ticket to ride

The one-way ticket to Beijing was booked today. The departure is for December 1 at noon. But before the big day, nothing more exciting than the idea of future long strollings to get the visas... the administrative waltz may start... même pas peur!

Update: In fairness, it was very easy. The Chinese visa took me less than 1 minute and a half, montre en main! I went to the Consultate Boulevard du Souverain on a Monday morning, at 9am. No queue, no fight with any impervious bureaucracy. It takes 5 days to get a 2 months visa (30€), single entry.

You can get the Indian visa Chaussée de Vleurgat from 9:30am to 11:30am. I applied for it on a Friday and got my passport back the following Tuesday (from 5pm to 5:30pm... yes, they have very strange and stupid opening hours for people who actually have a job). It costs 50€ for a multiple entries visa, valid for 6 months.
